Short, practical guides for setting up your workspace, choosing good search inputs, and keeping your pipeline clean.
Writing a good search
The best Google Maps runs combine a specific category with a specific area. "Dentists in Austin, TX" returns better data than "healthcare Texas". Use the plural noun people actually search for, and add a neighborhood when a city is very large.
- checkUse a specific category, not an industry
- checkAdd city and state, or a neighborhood
- checkStart with 25 to 50 places per search
Keeping your pipeline clean
Agree on what each status means before your team starts. A common setup: new means untouched, contacted means one attempt made, qualified means a real conversation happened, won means signed. Archive anything that is clearly not a fit so filters stay useful.
Exporting for your tools
CSV exports include every column you see in the lead table plus the source run and search query. Most dialers and CRMs map company, phone, email, and website automatically. Filter first, then export, so each file is a single campaign.
Onboarding checklist
Everything you need for a first successful week.
- checkConnect your Apify token in Integrations
- checkLaunch one small run (25 places) and check the results
- checkSet status definitions with your team
- checkTag your first campaign and export it
- checkReview Analytics after your first ten runs
